Try these fixes in the order they appear in for the best results:

Review Chrome Permissions

Chrome’s permissions might be allowing websites to capture your screen. Here’s how to disable them:

  1. Open Chrome and click on the three dots in the top-right corner.

Disable Chrome Extensions

Google Chrome extensions can sometimes cause unexpected behavior, including screen capturing. Disabling them could fix the issue:

  1. Open Chrome, click the three dots in the top-right corner, and tap Extensions > Manage Extensions.

The Registry Editor can help manage Chrome’s settings if you’re using Windows. Follow the steps below to stop screen capturing: 

  1. Press Windows Icon + R, type “Regedit,” and press Enter.

  1. Name it ScreenCaptureAllowed. Keep it at zero value and tap OK to disable screen capture on Chrome.

Open the browser and confirm if the issue is solved. 

Reset Chrome Settings

If the issue persists, resetting the browser to its default settings might help. Follow the below steps:

  1. Open Chrome, click on the three dots in the top-right corner, then tap Settings.
