Google Launches Gemini 3 Flash, a Smarter, Faster AI Model for Developers

Today, Google launched Gemini 3 Flash, the newest member of its Gemini AI lineup that is now available to developers. Google says that it offers super-fast and cutting-edge intelligence.

The new model is based on Gemini 3 Pro, which allows for faster speed performance, rich multimodal understanding and cheaper cost that is suitable for coding, gaming and enterprise applications. Gemini 3 Flash, at it’s heart is the Pareto frontierof efficiency and capability.

According to benchmark results, Gemini 3 Flash is three times more efficient than Gemini 2.5 Pro, nine times faster, and all that at less than a quarter of the cost of Gemini 3 Pro. The model also includes powerful visual and spatial reasoning, as well as code execution capabilities that enable developers to query, manipulate, and edit visual inputs.

For developers, Gemini 3 Flash supercharges agentic coding skills. Tools like Google Antigravity can now write more code faster than ever before. The company says that game studious are already experimenting with its power in game development.

Aside from gaming, Gemini 3 Flash is also being used in deepfake detection, and legal document analysis. The resemblance AI uses multimodal reasoning for speedy forensic analysis and Harvey AI to expedite contract processing, which provides greater accuracy of reasoning without losing speed.

The Gemini 3 Flash model is available via Google AI Studio, Gemini API, Antigravity, Gemini CLI, Android Studio and Vertex AI, with an initial price of $0.50 per million input tokens and $3 per million output tokens.
