[UPDATE: Now Available] GTA 5 Mansion Update Adds Luxury Home, New Cars and Creator Mode

While fans still wait for GTA6 news after the recent calendar change, Rockstar has fresh content for GTA5 with a major update called A Safehouse in the Hills. This release focuses on luxury housing, gameplay upgrades, and new tools for players and creators.

What is GTA 5 Mansion update?

The update introduces a mansion from Prix Luxury Real Estate with upgraded outdoor scenery and a fully redesigned interior. Inside, players can explore trophy cabinets, a private salon, animal kennels, a new garage, a vault, and more. The safehouse also features a flashy car podium, an armory, and a complete vehicle workshop.

Rockstar adds business production boosts and an optional private security detail that protects your operations across Los Santos. GTA Plus members receive a week early access to the Vapid FMJ MK V premium car along with exclusive mansion owner perks. They can also use a new Vinewood Club App option on the iFruit phone to manage staff remotely at select businesses.

Players get new missions, additional Hao’s Special Works compatible cars, and expanded Missile Lock On Jammer support for more vehicles, including those with non weaponized artifacts. The update also brings new law enforcement vehicles, drift variants, and new freemode events.

One of the standout features is the Mission Creator. You can build custom missions from scratch with your own objectives, NPCs, and interactive elements, then publish them for others to play.

When is the GTA 5 Mansion update release date?

Rockstar launches the update on December 10 at 5 AM EST in the US and 11 AM CET in Europe.
