Rockstar’s next big GTA 6 showcase is just days away, but the internet has apparently jumped the gun. New gameplay clips and an alleged full Leonida map have surfaced online, with a group called CyberLeek reportedly claiming responsibility. Rockstar has yet to confirm the alleged leaked material.

New GTA 6 footage reportedly reveals Jason, basketball and a sprawling Leonida map

Two gameplay clips are circulating, reportedly showing Jason playing basketball and driving before attacking an NPC. The footage also appears to show gameplay systems not previously demonstrated publicly. The alleged map is even more interesting.

The leaked map includes five counties across Leonida, including Vice Dale County, Kelly County, Leonard County, Lummox County, and Mariana County. The footage reportedly hints at a basketball activity, vehicle fuel, car maintenance, loadout storage, and a six-star wanted system. These details remain unconfirmed and could represent an older development build.

CyberLeek reportedly claims responsibility as Rockstar fights the spread

The group which has leaked the GTA 6 map has criticized digital-only releases and the removal of purchased content. Warning Rockstar and other platforms, the group has said that “Publishers should beware,” the manifesto concludes. “If CyberLeek can reach Rockstar, no one is safe. This is a message to all big corpo: behave, or be the next target.”

Rockstar and Take-Two have not confirmed the leak’s authenticity. However, reports say copyright (DMCA) takedowns have targeted videos and images appearing across social platforms.

That might be a hint that the leak may be legit. However, the timing of this leak may have left Rockstar in tricky situation. The company already has an official Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look scheduled for August 27. It will premiere on Netflix at 3 p.m. ET before appearing later on Rockstar’s YouTube channel.

For now, GTA 6 remains scheduled for November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
