Latest Windows 11 Beta Build Out with Unlimited Update Pauses, New Beta (26H1) Channel Also Confirmed

The Build 26220.8575 is now available for Windows 11 Insiders in the Beta channel

Yesterday, Microsoft quietly announced a few new builds for Windows 11 Insiders, while also announcing that Insiders in the Experimental (26H1) channel will start receiving a new 28100 series build number. The company has confirmed a new Beta (26H1) channel based on the 28000 series builds.

Speaking of the regular Beta channel, Microsoft has released Build 26220.8575 for Insiders in Windows 11 version 25H2, with a few fixes and improvements which you can check below:

[Windows Update] 

  • We’re adding the ability to extend update pauses as many times as you need 

[Audio] 

  • Fixed an issue resulting in audio not working for some Insiders after the latest flights. 

[Settings] 

  • Fixed an issue impacting the reliability of Settings > Apps > Installed Apps after the latest flights. 

[General Reliability] 

  • If you were experiencing freezes in the previous flight when interacting with search, Notepad, or certain other scenarios, that should be resolved now. 

If you are in the Beta channel and haven’t received the updates, check for it by going to Settings > Windows Updates > Check for Updates.
