Latest Xbox App Update Brings Fan-Favorite 'Store' Feature to Mobile
The feature is live in Xbox app version 2512.1.5
For a long time, the Xbox app on Android and iOS didn’t have a “Store” feature, even though players had been asking for it for years. Well, reports from last week suggested that the company finally heard the request, as Microsoft began testing the “Store” section inside the Xbox app beta version 2512.1.2 on Android.
Today, the company has quietly rolled out the “Store” section to everyone on iOS and Android. In other words, you can finally purchase games and browse the catalog right from your Android smartphones or iPhones. You can also add games to your wishlist so you can track offers and discounts when they are available.

If you want to access my new Store section, you need to open the navigation bar from the bottom of the screen (the small shopping bag icon). Meanwhile, the wishlist section is available inside the “My Library” section of the Xbox app.
All that said, there’s one caveat in the new version of the Xbox app: you can’t add multiple games at once. You need to go one by one. It may sound baffling, but it’s true. It would do the service more harm than good.
Initially, it was speculated that the stable version wouldn’t drop anytime soon, but Microsoft has surprised all the Xbox fans. As part of the app update dropped today, the new Store section is available in the Xbox App version 2512.1.5.
