Meta tries to mimic Game Pass with a new Meta Quest+ service

Oculus Quest is a great device, and to bring a better offer of games to its customers, Meta Platforms has introduced a new service.
This is a subscription service similar to Xbox Game Pass that will allow Oculus users to access a vast library of games every month.
Meta Quest+ is a new subscription service for Oculus devices
Many game publishers are offering subscription models for their games, and it seems that Meta will follow suit according to the latest blog post.
Similarly to Xbox Game Pass, this service will allow you to access a selection of games with a yearly or monthly subscription.
Currently, the are 12 games available on the Meta Quest + such as The Climb, Demeo, ESPIRE 1, Jurassic World Aftermath Collection, Onward, and more.
This is a pretty great deal since individual games cost more than a monthly subscription. Speaking of which, you can get this service for $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year.
Meta also offers some great deals, and if you get a yearly subscription before May 31st, you’ll get a $25 store credit. And for new VR users, there’s a six-month trial if they purchase 512GB Meta Quest 3.
This sounds like a great deal, but the question remains how well this subscription model will be received by Oculus users.
As for VR, users are asking for Windows Mixed Reality to go open source after its discontinuation, so the question remains how viable is VR as a gaming platform. Only time will tell.
