Microsoft has confirmed an outage affecting Microsoft 365 services, specifically impacting access to the Admin Center. The issue caused disruptions for users trying to manage their environments, but the company has now restored service.

Admin Center Access Issues Impact Central US Users

According to Neowin, the incident was tracked under ID MO1268822 and classified as a service degradation. Users reported being unable to access the Microsoft 365 Admin Center or experiencing significant delays when attempting to load it.

Microsoft noted that the issue potentially affected all users trying to access the Admin Center, although the impact appeared to be largely concentrated in the Central US region.

Microsoft Reroutes Traffic to Restore Service

To resolve the problem, Microsoft rerouted traffic to an alternate portion of its infrastructure. This mitigation helped stabilize access and allowed the service to recover.

Microsoft has confirmed that the Admin Center is now back online and operating normally.

Microsoft Continues Expanding Copilot Across 365

In other news, Microsoft 365 Copilot received several new features throughout March, expanding its capabilities across productivity workflows. At the same time, Microsoft is moving toward placing Copilot features in Office apps behind a separate subscription model.

Looking ahead, Microsoft 365 may also gain deeper AI integrations, including OpenClaw and more advanced AI agents designed to automate everyday tasks.
