Microsoft has been at the forefront of AI ever since the concept started to gain popularity. The Redmond-based tech giant is investing a lot of resources into AI research, and just in 2023, AI projects such as Llama 2, Orca 13B, Project Rumi, and many others were released.
The company also released Copilot for Windows 11, Windows 10, and Microsoft 365 (virtually all apps within the suite) all in 2023, while 2024 marks the year of the Copilot key, a brand new addition to the upcoming Windows devices and keyboards, as a glimpse of the future Windows, which is also (yes, obviously) AI-based.
The new Windows is set to be released sometime this year, according to various reports, and Microsoft is testing the AI waters around the world with a series of conferences and meetings focused on AI: the Microsoft AI Tour.

Microsoft AI Tour: Everything you need to know
The series of conferences is meant for AI enthusiasts, tech entrepreneurs, developers, and decision-makers, while Microsoft promises AI will create new opportunities for people everywhere.
There were a couple of conferences within this tour that were held in 2023, but the rest of them will be held in 2024, from January to April. April is also the month Microsoft is reportedly unveiling the upcoming AI-powered Windows, so it will be just in time.
