Microsoft Copilot GPT

If you remember, a while ago, we reported a story where Microsoft announced the new Copilot GPTs, which are customized AI models that are modeled to be experts in certain fields, such as cooking, or fitness.

Well, according to Jordi Ribas, Head of Engineering and Product for Copilot and Bing, Microsoft has released some Copilot GPTs to Copilot, so, if you have access to Copilot Pro, you can now access Copilots that suit your needs at the moment.

So, if you’re looking for a virtual fitness trainer, Copilot can be one, and Jordi Ribas actually shows us a tease of this specific model on X (formerly known as Twitter).

We’ve rolled out a few Copilot GPTs in Microsoft Copilot. They can help create designs, plan your next vacation, learn to cook a new recipe, or create a custom workout plan. GPTs leverage contextual instructions in the prompt and domain info as part of the grounding (RAG) data.

There are no signs of the upcoming Copilot GPT builder, another platform that Microsoft teased at the beginning of 2024. However, Ribas says that the platform is also coming soon:

Soon. We already have it on a flight or controlled experiment with a subset of users.

The platform along with the Copilot GPTs can be used by AI enthusiasts to work on specific AI models, such as the ones mentioned earlier, and eventually sell them on a Microsoft-approved platform, such as Microsoft Store, or a possible Copilot Store.

It’s worth mentioning that the Copilot GPTs are currently rolling out to users so if you don’t have access to them currently, make sure to check out again in a few days.
