Good news for PowerPoint users: Microsoft Designer will use Copilot to create complex PowerPoint presentations based on all the data the AI model has access to. The new enhancement was announced in a recent entry to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap.
Microsoft Designer is a tool for creating slides and presentations by suggesting layouts, designs, and templates. Its integration with Copilot means Copilot can use Designer’s features to help you even more.
For example, the AI model can suggest different slide layouts and templates when working on a presentation. This makes it easier to create visually appealing slides without spending too much time on design.
These suggestions from the Designer are displayed in a vertical gallery, making browsing the options simple and choosing the ones you like.
Here’s what the entry says:
Designer is now part of Copilot. Copilot Suggestions now brings you familiar Designer slide layout and presentation template suggestions in a vertical gallery, along with new capabilities.
The new enhancement is rolling out to users this month, and it should be generally available to all by the end of March.
In similar news, Copilot is now a native app in Windows and should run locally on devices. However, that doesn’t mean it will help users navigate the operating system more easily.
