Microsoft Edge's Copilot may no longer track Your Shopping Activities Online

Microsoft Edge has recently removed the “Show shopping notifications” setting from Copilot in Dev and Canary channels. This feature, which automatically provides chat suggestions as notifications when shopping online, has been a helpful tool for many users to find deals, compare prices, and get personalized recommendations.

With the removal of this feature, users may no longer receive real-time, AI-powered shopping suggestions while browsing online. This could make it more difficult to find the best deals and products without actively searching for them. As a result, Microsoft Edge’s Copilot may no longer track your shopping activities online.

Microsoft revamps Copilot, removes Shopping Notifications in Edge

Apart from this Copilot change in Edge, recently Microsoft offered more control over Edge sidebar visibility via new Settings. The company also made instant updates part of Edge Beta. Further, Microsoft is testing the ability to edit images with Designer in Edge and prepares Edge Lens to take on Chrome’s Google Lens.
