Microsoft has announced the rollout of delivery and read receipts in Outlook for Android and iOS, enhancing the email experience for mobile users.
This new feature allows users to track their emails’ delivery and reading status, providing greater transparency and control over their communications.
Delivery receipts confirm that an email has been successfully delivered to the recipient’s mailbox, while read receipts indicate that the recipient has opened the email.
These features are useful for those who must ensure that their intended recipients have received and read important messages.
To enable delivery and read receipts in Outlook for Android and iOS, users can navigate to the settings menu and select the appropriate options under the “Tracking” section. Once enabled, users will receive notifications in their inbox when an email is delivered or read.
The new feature is available to Outlook Android and iOS users as part of the latest app update. Microsoft continues to innovate and improve its suite of productivity tools, ensuring that users have access to the best possible email experience on their mobile devices.
Outlook for Mobile was recently enhanced to recall accidental emails. Users can now unsend emails if they want to.
