Microsoft will update Excel for the Web to support comment filtering, giving users the option to look for specific comments by filtering them.

According to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, this capability should be rolled out to the platform by the end of April 2024, to all Excel users.

The capability was much needed and it could not only be used to organize comments in Excel documents but also filter unwanted, rude, or inappropriate comments.

The web version of Excel was recently updated to support additional Copy/Paste options, alongside new Autofill capabilities, giving users more ways to seamlessly work multiple Excel documents on the Web.

Plus, Copilot in Excel will also be getting dozens new of capabilities in the upcoming months: for instance, the AI model will support conditional formatting. This will allow the AI model to handle complex tasks, meaning users won’t be alone in handling such tasks anymore, as Copilot can be of assistance.
