Earlier in 2024, Microsoft announced Game Hubs, a new platform coming to the Xbox App that encompasses all things gaming, and it was built upon users’ feedback.
Game hubs were built on your feedback around depth, progression, and more ways to connect with your games. With game hubs, you’ll be able to track your progress over time, discover the latest content and add-ons, connect or compete with your friends, get the latest news from developers, and more.

Back then, the Redmond-based tech giant said the new platform comes with several sections focused on improving the gaming experience. These are:
- The essentials
- Featured content
- Friends who play
- Achievements
- All add-ons
- HowLongToBeat
- From the developer
Now, almost 2 months later, Game Hubs are available in the Xbox App for PC users, according to the company’s latest blog post.
Today, we’re excited to share that all PC players can now enjoy game hubs inside the Xbox app on PC. Navigate to any game in your library or in the sidebar to track your progress, discover the latest content and add-ons, connect and compete with your friends, and get the latest news from developers.

The Redmond-based tech giant has also started to roll out a new sub-navigation experience in the Xbox App for PC, allowing users to choose from several new settings, and explore a new layout under the “What’s happening” section.
We have started previewing a new sub-navigation experience under the “What’s Happening” section of the Game Pass tab in the Xbox app on PC with a subset of players and with all Xbox Insiders.

These are all part of the April console update which is now starting to roll out to users everywhere. The update brings several enhancements to the app, including improvements to Discord Voice and game captures.
