Microsoft Flight Simulator

Do you imagine flying high in the sky over the UK and Ireland, looking at beautiful scenery, cities, and landmarks with detailed precision from your home? Microsoft Flight Simulator’s newest update, World Update XVII, can make this dream come true for virtual pilots or anyone fascinated by these iconic areas.

Microsoft has released a graphical update that provides better views of many United Kingdom and Ireland locations. Imagine flying above 16 TIN cities, such as the lively streets of Greater London and the historical landmarks in Edinburgh, or even experiencing how it feels to be at Cliffs of Moher—all these are now possible with this enhancement.

And this is not the end; the update presents 79 interesting spots distributed throughout England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and even the Isle of Man.

But what’s a flight without landing? In a blog post, Microsoft says this update brings five handcrafted airports, from Farnborough Airport in England to Cork Airport in Ireland. Every airport is carefully made to give an authentic feeling of landing that will challenge your pilot abilities.

For the Adventurers, there are eight fresh activities to take on. Fly high in the sky with three discovery flights, prove your precision with two landing challenges, or go on three bush trips around this area – these will surely excite every sort of aviator.

The secret cooperation amplifies this update’s uniqueness. Microsoft formed a partnership with Bing Maps, Gaya Simulations, and iniBuilds. These companies joined forces to actualize this dream, combining new aerial imagery with digital elevation and TIN surface modeling. This kind of accuracy and effort makes virtual skies even more appealing now.

And guess what? There is no charge for this update; it’s accessible to all Microsoft Flight Simulator owners. You only need to confirm that your simulator has the latest version, 1.37.19.0 or higher, download World Update XVII, and you are set to fly. Whether you are an experienced aviator or a fresh adventurer, the skies above the United Kingdom and Ireland beckon to you.
