microsoft flight simulator login queue

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, the latest iteration of the popular flight simulation game, has experienced major login queue issues at launch, causing significant disruptions for players worldwide.

The game, which boasts a wealth of new features and upgraded world maps, is now available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass users. However, when players tried to log in, they were met with long wait times, loading screen bugs, and other issues.

In response to the growing number of user reports, Microsoft’s Flight Simulator support team took to Twitter to confirm that the game’s servers were being overwhelmed.

We are aware of user reports of long initial loading times into Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. With so many users initializing the sim concurrently, we have a large number of server requests. We are working to help resolve the issues as soon as possible.

Microsoft later said that it was fixing a bug preventing players from accessing all of the game’s aircraft.

Microsoft Flight Simulator enthusiasts experience a login queue as long as 25 hours post-release, while others have been able to log in in less than 4 hours.

The Redmond-based tech giant says the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 login queue issue has now been resolved, but even so, many more users are reporting that they cannot access the game yet. Others, while able to pass the login queue relatively quickly, have been stopped from enjoying the game by other bugs, such as being stuck on certain areas of the game.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has been expected by a large community of players, so these bugs are almost sure to happen. The Redmond-based tech giant recommends users report any bugs they encounter so they can be fixed swiftly.

If you’ve encountered a bug (many users are stuck on the customize identity section of the game, it seems), you should report it quickly by submitting a ticket, and letting Microsoft know about it.

You can do so by accessing this link and describing the problem you’re currently facing. As this is part of the game’s release phase, Microsoft will quickly investigate it and come up with a fix.
