Microsoft is updating the Win + ALT shortcut in New Outlook

The new Outlook will be enhanced to shorten the shortcut for accessing keyboard navigation. According to the latest entry to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, the Redmond-based tech giant will enhance the newer version of the Outlook platform to ask only the ALT key instead of the classic Win + ALT.

This enhancement will be released in September 2024 and will only impact the new Outlook for Windows. This means the other Outlook versions won’t support the new ALT shortcut.

Here’s what the entry says:

Users in new Outlook can now use the Alt key to bring up key tips when using keyboard navigation. This behavior was previously Win+Alt. Other Outlook apps will not be impacted by these changes.
