Microsoft faces UK anti-competitive regulators over Activision acquisition

The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority has announced that it has launched an investigation into Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision, adding a possible hurdle to Microsoft completing on the acquisition. The aim of the investigation is to determine “whether the deal may harm competition – through higher prices, lower quality, or reduced choice.”
