Microsoft Shares the Dates for Its Build 2026 Developer Conference

Microsoft has announced the dates for its Build 2026 developer conference, confirming the event will run on June 2–3, 2026, in San Francisco. Build remains the company’s annual gathering centered on developer tools, platform updates, and emerging technologies.

For 2026, Microsoft describes Build as a two-day conference built around hands-on sessions and technical discussions tied to real-world AI development. The company will stream keynotes and sessions online for free, while in-person attendance will require a $1,099 ticket.

A Build aimed at AI and enterprise developers

Microsoft positions Build 2026 primarily for AI developers, technical leaders, and enterprise developers. Attendees can expect hands-on workshops, peer debugging sessions, and discussions with engineers who build and run production AI systems.

The company also plans to spotlight AI development workflows, models, agents, and multi-model systems used in real deployments. Microsoft says developers will gain access to new AI capabilities through GitHub and Microsoft Foundry tools, reinforcing the event’s technical and enterprise emphasis rather than consumer announcements.

Registration is already open on the official website. Microsoft also says it may help with visas for approved attendees, and it will refund tickets if visa applications get denied.
