microsoft teams shared content

Teams will finally allow managers and organizers of webinars and virtual meetings to choose the right time to show shared content to participants.

According to a recent entry to the Microsoft 365, an improvement to the ‘Manage what attendees see’ feature lets organizers and presenters decide when to show shared content to attendees. This feature works for Meetings, Webinars, and Town Halls.

In other words, organizers and presenters now have better control over when attendees can see the content shared during different events.

Here’s what the entry says:

An enhancement to the ‘Manage what attendees see’ feature, allowing organizers and presenters to control when shared content is visible to attendees. This capability is available for Meetings, Webinars and Town halls.

The new enhancement will be rolled out to Microsoft Teams in April 2025, and it’s quite useful for preventing uncomfortable situations, such as sharing the wrong content in webinars.

In other news, some major UI changes that should make it easier to install apps and AI agents will impact the whole platform.
