Microsoft Teams Outage Hits Users With Messaging Delays

2025 hasn’t been kind to Microsoft when it comes to normal operations of its app and services. In the past few months there have been multiple outages, with recent taking a hit on Microsoft 365 and Copilot in Japan.
Well… it’s a new day, and a new outage has kicked in, unfortunately (via Bleeping Computer). In a post on X from moments ago, Microsoft has confirmed that Teams is facing an outage (phew!) right now. So, if you are wonsering why Microsoft Teams isn’t working as usual, you know the reason now.
“We’re investigating an issue in which users may be experiencing Microsoft Teams messaging delays and problems with other service functions. We’re observing recovery in our telemetry and are continuing our analysis to identify the impacted scenarios and determine the cause of this issue. Further information can be found in the admin center under TM1200517,” Microsoft said.
