Microsoft Teams Will Let Two Presenters Share Screens at the Same Time

In addition to working on ways to give Teams admins a much easier way to restore data, Microsoft is also working on a handy feature that will allow two presenters to share their screens or windows simultaneously during the same meeting.

According to Microsoft’s latest AI at Work Roadmap update, participants will be able to see both shared content streams at the same time. This means two presenters could show different documents, apps or screens without one person’s presentation replacing the other.

The change useful when two people need to compare content during a meeting. For example, one presenter could display a document while another shows related data or a separate application, allowing participants to view both sources without constantly switching between presenters.

Microsoft has listed the feature under Roadmap ID 80239. The company says the feature is planned to begin rolling out in November 2026. It will be available for Teams on desktop and web.

Teams could make collaborative presentations easier

The update appears to be useful at times where screen sharing is less about a single person presenting and more about multiple people working through information together. It may also reduce the back-and-forth that happens when presenters need to compare two pieces of content.

That being said, Microsoft has not yet provided a detailed explanation of how the two shared streams will appear for meeting participants or whether there will be additional controls for managing them.

The November rollout will give Teams users a better idea of how Microsoft plans to handle multiple simultaneous presentations.
