Microsoft Teases Cyberpunk 2077 Could Soon Come to Xbox Game Pass

March 2026 already seems busy for Xbox Game Pass owners, but there’s something quite exciting coming to the service. The official Xbox Game Pass account on X teased a “very cool” addition to the service. An internal message, seen in the screenshot, to ALL STAFF from Melissa McGamePass reads:

“Wake up, social team, we’ve got a new game to add! I know we’ve added a ton of great games already, but you know what? There’s no such thing as too many games on Xbox Game Pass. So many breathtaking worlds to explore… This latest addition is going to be a v good one too. Stay tuned, because we’ve got even more games coming soon.”

Fans speculate that the aforementioned cryptic message points to Cyberpunk 2077 joining Game Pass soon. For the uninitiated, it’s a massive RPG that late last year surpassed 35 million copies sold worldwide. As of now, there’s no official release date. That’s not all; Microsoft hasn’t officially confirmed the game’s arrival on Game Pass.

But the hints are hitting at the perfect time. Game Pass is already scheduled to get big titles like Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Planet of Lana 2 this month, and adding Cyberpunk 2077 would take the value proposition to another level.

Fans on Reddit are suggesting that if Cyberpunk 2077 really drops on Game Pass, it could be one of the biggest additions in years. For now, Microsoft’s tease is all we have. Are you excited for Cyberpunk 2077? Let us know in the comments.
