Microsoft released its latest update to Viva Connections, which includes three new out-of-the-box cards for OneDrive, Quick Links, and Playlists. Imagine having all your frequently accessed, shared, and favorite files from OneDrive at your fingertips without any need for configuration by your Viva Connections admin. That’s precisely what the new cards offer.
It’s a simple yet powerful tool that ensures effortless access to your essential files on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
The Quick Links card is a godsend for anyone who’s ever spent too much time searching for relevant links. Whether you’re a frontline worker needing quick access to vital information on your smartphone or a department head wanting to keep your team in the loop, this card has you covered.
The Playlist card is a real game-changer for scenarios like employee onboarding. Imagine a new hire being able to watch a curated list of videos to get up to speed with their new role. But here’s the catch – according to the official blog post, these cards won’t be available to everyone immediately. Microsoft plans to roll them out gradually in the summer/autumn of 2024.
