The Myst game series is now available on Windows 10/11

Myst was released back in 1993, and it’s one of those old-school games that will never be forgotten. Back then gamers had never seen such a game, and it managed to inspire lots of games that we’re playing these days.
A few months from now, Myth fans will be celebrating the game’s 25th anniversary and developers prepared something special for the occasion.
Quick Tip:
To have a smooth experience when playing Myst, we recommend you connect to the game from a dedicated gaming browser. Opera GX is a great option.
It’s specifically optimized to reduce latency issues and let you play without interruptions. It’s packed with performance-oriented features such as a RAM and CPU limiter, hardware acceleration, and much more.

Cyan got the rights to all seven games in the Myst universe
Cyan is the original game developer of Myst, and it was able to gather the complete rights to all seven games in Myst, turning to Kickstarter to re-release the massive game as one big box set.
The set was already launched, and despite the fact that its target was to raise around $247,500, it blew up this goal and raised no less than $500,000.
The games included in this precious set are the following:
- Myst: Masterpiece Edition
- Riven: The sequel to Myst
- Myst 3: Exile
- Myst 4: Revelation
- Myst 5: End of Ages
- Uru: Complete Chronicles
- realMyst: Masterpiece (the 3D Myst re-make released in 2000)
For $49 you can get digital copies of each game, and if you’re ready to pay $99, you will get DVD copies in a box incredible designed to look like a Myst book.
All the games include lots of great features such as a recreation of Gehn’s in-game pen/inkwell, and an original hand-drawn, mind-blowing concept art.
There’s also a Linking book included with an 800×480 LCD screen that will show you fly-throughs of Myth’s environments when you open the book.
All games included in Myth set box work on Windows 10
Even if most of the series was already available for Windows 10, Myst III and IV had never been updated for Windows 10 compatibility because the rights were held by a different publisher.
But now, all the games work on the OS, so don’t waste any more time and get your copies now.
