Late May has been a busy stretch if you’re an Xbox Game Pass fan. Microsoft announced Retro Classics with over 50 old-school Activision games for PC and Xbox. Then came updates to Game Bar, cloud streaming, and GeForce NOW support in the Xbox app. Now, May 2025 wave two (2) adds a bunch of new Game Pass titles to round out the month.

List of games included in the Xbox Game Pass May 2025 Wave 2

Metaphor ReFantazio, Monster Train 2, and The Division 2 are all joining Xbox Game Pass soon. Some are day-one drops, too, ready to play the moment they go live.

Here’s the full list of what’s coming to Xbox Game Pass:

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members are also getting a wave of classic titles added to the cloud beta. These include:

  • Sunset Overdrive
  • Super Lucky’s Tale
  • Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection

That’s a solid batch of throwback hits joining the cloud.

What’s leaving soon

A few titles will leave Game Pass on May 31. You can check the list below:

  • Firework
  • Humanity
  • Remnant 2
  • Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengeance of the Slayer

So if any of those are in your backlog, now’s the time. Between the Retro Classics rollout and this packed Game Pass wave, Xbox fans are getting a strong finish to May.
