Nintendo’s Limited-Time 'Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle' Launches This Summer
Nintendo has officially unveiled the new “Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle,” and honestly, this feels like the kind of offer fans were hoping after the recently announced price hike.
Nintendo announces the new Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle
Starting in early June, participating retailers will reportedly begin offering the bundle for $499.99, complete with the console itself and a redeemable download code for one select first-party game.
Rather than locking buyers into one default title, players can pick between three games, namely Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, or Pokémon Pokopia. Nintendo says the bundle offers savings of up to $29.99 compared to purchasing the console and game separately
Notably, Nintendo is also using the bundle announcement to promote the Switch 2’s upgraded hardware features. The new handheld gaming console supports gameplay at up to 4K resolution, brings mouse-like functionality through the reworked Joy-Con 2 controllers in compatible games, and adds GameChat features designed to make online sessions feel closer to local multiplayer.
The new bundle will be available for limited time
Here’s what you should pay attention to. Nintendo says the new bundle will only be available for a limited time while supplies last. Considering how quickly Nintendo hardware tends to disappear during launch periods, it would not be shocking if some retailers start running low shortly after pre-orders and summer demand fully kick in.
