No new update for the Windows 11 Insider Canary and Dev Channel this week

Microsoft halts the release of Windows 11 Insider builds for Canary and Dev channel members for this week. Brandon LeBlanc, Senior Program Manager on the Windows Insider Program Team, confirmed the news.

In a recent X (formerly Twitter) post, Brandon mentioned that some bugs on those builds remain to be fixed. As a result, there will be no new build release, at least this week, on the Canary and Dev channels.

Last week has been quite hectic for Microsoft’s Windows team. The team released a new Windows 11 feature update called Moment 5 on Thursday. The update brings several improvements, including additional language support for Voice Access, new casting enhancements, etc. Additionally, Microsoft rolled out new non-security release preview builds for Windows 11 22H2 and 22H3. These include a few feature improvements but mostly bug fixes. Moving on, the Beta channel members witnessed a rare Monday drop, with build number 22635.3212 (KB5034845). The update brings in a new Widget notification badging feature and fixes annoying taskbar issues on Windows 11.

Moreover, Microsoft also showcased a new feature in Phone Link that allows using the back camera of an Android phone as a webcam on Windows 11. The feature is now live for Windows Insider members.
