If you’re using the NVIDIA App on Windows, there’s a new update waiting. Version 11.0.4 just rolled out, and while it doesn’t overhaul the whole experience, it quietly adds a bunch of nice touches, especially for accessibility and game optimization.
The updated NVIDIA App now comes with light mode and better accessibility
For starters, the app finally supports light mode. You can either switch manually or let it follow your system’s theme, though, technically, Windows still doesn’t support automatic switching between light and dark.
The updated app also brings Windows Narrator support. This means NVIDIA’s app will now play nicely with the built-in screen reader, reading out interface elements for users who rely on assistive tools. It’s a small but meaningful step toward making the app more accessible.
12 more games get optimization support
Gamers who use NVIDIA’s app performance tuning will be happy to see a dozen new titles added to the list. These include:
- Assassin’s Creed: Shadows
- Deadlock
- The Last of Us Part II Remastered
- ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN
- Half-Life 2 with RTX
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered…and a few more, including Indiana Jones And The Great Circle and GTA V Enhanced.
The update also fixes a few issues
This version also addresses a handful of bugs. DLSS settings now behave more predictably, driver downloads won’t hang, and your recording bitrate settings should finally stick. NVIDIA also resolved a weird issue where HDR colors were off in video playback.
Smaller fixes include overlay glitches, microphone boost resets after reboot, and issues with the Highlights summary window. You can find all the necessary details here.
