If your games have been crashing or your browser’s flashing red and green, NVIDIA might have the fix. NVIDIA just rolled out a new hotfix, GeForce Display Driver version 576.66, to patch up a handful of frustrating bugs, especially on its RTX 5000 series cards.

The update builds on the latest Game Ready Driver 576.52, which recently added support for the RTX 5060.

What’s fixed in hotfix 576.66?

This emergency update targets several high-profile problems:

  • Dune: Awakening crashing during gameplay
  • EA Sports FC 25 crashing on some setups
  • Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 crash fixes
  • Dragons Dogma 2 showing shadow flickers on RTX 50 cards
  • Red/green flashes during video playback in browsers on RTX 50 GPUs

All of these bugs have been reported by users over the past few weeks, and the fix is finally here.

Another patch in a growing list

This isn’t NVIDIA’s first hotfix this year—and probably won’t be the last. Since March, the company has been quick to push out emergency patches to stabilize performance on its newer RTX 5000 series GPUs. Earlier fixes addressed black screen boot issues, faulty clock behavior, and sleep-related temperature bugs.

If you’ve been facing any of the problems above on Windows 10 or 11, this new driver is worth a shot. You can download version 576.66 and check out the full release notes directly on NVIDIA’s official website.
