Windows 11 26H1 Beta & Experimental Builds Released With Touchpad & Mouse Cursor Fixes
Windows 11 26H1 Beta 28020.2904 and Experimental 28120.2912 builds are out for Insiders
Microsoft has released two different builds for Windows 11 version 26H1 Insiders in the Beta and Experimental channels. Both come with input fixes, while the Experimental build also comes with a gaming-related known issue.

Windows 11 26H1 Insider Beta Build 28020.2904 and Experimental Build 28120.2912 were released today alongside September 2026 Patch Tuesday updates for Windows 10 and Windows 11. As far as these ones are concerned, they small set of general improvements and fixes for Insiders.
The Beta build mainly focuses on overall improvements, while the Experimental build brings a couple of additional input fixes. Microsoft has fixed an issue that caused touchpad zoom to stop working in certain apps after recent flights.
The Experimental build also fixes a problem where the mouse cursor could move in the wrong direction on portrait monitors. This issue reportedly affected some Insiders following recent builds.
Windows 11 26H1 Experimental build has a gaming issue
While the latest builds focus on improving the Windows 11 version 26H1, Microsoft is also investigating an issue affecting some games using Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC).
According to Microsoft, affected games may fail to launch and show the error, “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b).” The company says it is working on a fix and expects the problem to be resolved with the next build.

Microsoft has also released several new Windows 11 Insider builds with more changes and fixes. Experimental build 26340.9354 introduces independent Magnifier zoom levels for each monitor alongside improved cross-device resume features and new privacy controls. Meanwhile, beta build 26220.9343 delivers File Explorer fixes and additional Magnifier improvements, as well as a modernized AutoPlay experience and better recovery options.
