OpenAI Launches 'GPT Image 1.5' With a New Dedicated 'Images' Tab in ChatGPT
OpenAI has just dropped GPT Image 1.5. That’s the company’s new AI image model that can generate high-fidelity images with strong prompt adherence, preserving composition, lighting, and fine-grained detail. As part of the upgrade, a new version of ChatGPT Images is rolling out today, and it’s powered by the company’s latest flagship image model.
You can expect faster, more precise image creation and editing within ChatGPT. If you’re someone who likes to start editing from scratch or on uploaded photos, the new image model is highly reliable. The standout feature, according to OpenAI, is that it preserves the details that matter.
Details including lighting, composition, and how people look in the generated image are preserved well in the generated image. You can also expect ChatGPT to now generate more realistic clothing try-ons, improved stylistic filters, and conceptual transformations that finally look and feel original.
When it comes to text rendering, the new model excels in that part. The editing tools have also been updated to help you add, remove, combine, or transpose elements with precision. In short, this update makes ChatGPT a mini editing studio that you can access anywhere you go.
Not to forget, there’s also a new Images feature in ChatGPT. You can access it via the sidebar on the mobile app and chatgpt.com. It comes with a handful of preset filters and prompts for inspiration.

The latest update is available to all ChatGPT users and API users worldwide, and it works seamlessly across models. Have you already tried the new image model? What are the differences or improvements you feel are now there? Drops your thoughts below.
