If you have been waiting for the right time to grab a new PS5 game, upgrade your PlayStation Plus subscription, or finally buy that overpriced accessory sitting in your wishlist, Sony just dropped one of its biggest annual sales events again.

Sony has confirmed that Days of Play 2026 officially kicks off May 27 and runs through June 10, and honestly, this year’s lineup looks way bigger.

Here are the biggest PS5 deals from Days of Play 2026 worth checking first

Sony confirmed multiple hardware discounts across consoles, accessories, VR gear, and games. Some of the notable offers include:

  • $100 off PlayStation VR2
  • $50 off Pulse Explore wireless earbuds
  • $40 off Pulse Elite headset
  • $30 off DualSense Edge controller
  • Up to $20 off standard DualSense controllers

Meanwhile, several newer PS5 games are also getting discounts, including Ghost of Yōtei, Helldivers 2, Death Stranding 2, and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered. Sony also says PlayStation Plus members in select European countries will get an extra 5% off PS5 hardware and accessories when ordering directly through PlayStation.

PlayStation Plus users also get a lot this month

The bigger value honestly may sit inside PlayStation Plus itself. Sony confirmed June’s Monthly Games lineup includes:

  • Grounded Fully Yoked Edition
  • Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2
  • Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

Meanwhile, Destiny 2: Legacy Collection (2025) joins the Game Catalog on June 9 for Extra and Premium members. Premium users also get access to more than 40 indie game trials during the event period. That includes titles like Baby Steps, Lumines Arise, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Even Fortnite players are getting pulled into Days of Play

Sony is also heavily pushing tournaments this year. Games like Fortnite, Tekken 8, NBA 2K26, Mortal Kombat 1, and Gran Turismo 7 will feature special Days of Play events, rewards, avatars, and sweepstakes prizes.

Interestingly, the Fortnite Days of Play Cup even includes a global cash prize pool worth $200,000. Overall, this honestly feels less like a normal PlayStation sale and more like Sony trying to turn the next two weeks into one giant PS5 ecosystem event before the second half of 2026 starts getting crowded with major game launches again.
