Quarantine Zone: The Last Check Arrives on Game Pass and Steam
After weeks of anticipation, Quarantine Zone: The Last Check has officially launched on January 12, 2026, and it’s now available on Xbox Game Pass as well as Steam. This comes as no surprise, as we already wrote that Quarantine Zone is coming to Game Pass.
Quarantine Zone: The Last Check is finally available on Steam and Game Pass
As reported by GamingTrend, players previously had access only to a demo, but the full release finally opens the doors to the complete experience. The game comes from Brigada Games and is published by Devolver Digital, blending survival mechanics with tense inspection-based gameplay during a zombie outbreak.
In Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, you step into the role of a quarantine zone agent tasked with preventing the spread of infection. Your job revolves around scanning survivors for symptoms or hidden contraband using X-ray tools and medical scanners. When cases raise suspicion with unknown symptoms, you can send survivors to the laboratory for deeper analysis, uncovering new and dangerous virus indicators.
Beyond inspections, the game leans heavily into base management. You manage defenses, deploy armed drones, and personally protect the quarantine zone from incoming threats. The game even lets you capture zombies in cages and collect bounties, adding an economic layer to survival decisions.
Players can access the game through Xbox Game Pass or purchase it separately for $19.99 on Steam. More titles are scheduled to join Game Pass this month, while Xbox fans also await news on the rumored Elite Series 3 controller later this year.
