Many tend to use various optimization software, however, users reported that Razer Cortex is closing Discord on their PC and in today’s guide we’re going to show you how to fix this.
What can I do if Razer Cortex is closing Discord?
1. Change booster settings
- Open Razer Cortex.
- Next, go to GAME BOOSTER and select BOOST.
- Locate Processes and make sure Discord isn’t selected.
- Save changes.
2. Disable the boost feature
3. Turn off or uninstall the software
- Right-click the Razer Cortex icon in the system tray and choose Exit.
- Check if this solves the problem. If so, disable the application to stop it from starting with your PC.
- If you don’t use this software actively, and you want to remove it, press the Windows key + X and choose Apps and Features.
- Next, locate Razer Cortex on the list, and click three dots next to it. Choose Uninstall.
- Follow the steps on the screen to remove it.
If Razer Cortex is closing Discord, it’s likely because you have the BOOST option enabled, and it’s closing unnecessary applications, such as Discord, to ensure that you have enough resources to handle gaming.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the only issue and users reported that Digital Vibrance is not working, while others had Razer Cortex crashing their PC.
For some users, Razer Cortex is not working at all. Given all the issues, it’s no wonder that some users are looking towards Razer Cortex alternatives.
