Limited-Edition Xbox Series X25 Console & Wireless Controller Release Date & Price Now Official, Pre-Orders Also Live Now

Xbox’s 25th anniversary console and wireless controller collection finally has an official release date and pricing. This comes a few dats after the release date and price of the X25 console and wireless controller was leaked. Besides confirming the release date and orice, the co pant has also opened pre-orders for both the devices. The package celebrates the original console through translucent green styling, numbered hardware, and a surprise game included at no extra charge.

The Series X25 console is the headline

The Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition console is individually numbered with a unique engraving. Its translucent OG Green finish and anniversary details are designed as a tribute to 25 years of Xbox.

The bigger draw may be the included copy of Halo: Campaign Evolved. Every Series X25 console comes with a full-game download of the modernized remake. Pre-orders kick off today for selected fans invited through email. From August 27 at 7 a.m. PDT, buyers in select markets can also try through Xbox and participating retailers.

The Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition console is priced at $899.99 in the United States. Regional pricing and availability can differ, while supplies remain limited.

The anniversary controller arrives separately

The Xbox X25 Special Edition Wireless Controller is also getting its own release. It uses the same translucent green approach and adds nostalgic details tied to the brand’s history.

Pre-orders are already open in select markets. The controller launches October 20, giving fans another way to mark the anniversary without buying the console collection.

The full collection releases on November 13, 2026. Microsoft is limiting purchases to one collection per customer, which could make availability tighter. Not to forget, the launch comes shortly before Xbox reaches its 25th anniversary on November 15. That timing makes the collection both a gaming product and a commemorative piece.
