Resident Evil Showcase Confirmed With New Requiem Gameplay

Resident Evil Showcase

Fans still digging into Quarantine Zone: The Last Check have another reason to get excited this week. If survival horror sits at the top of your list, fresh details about Resident Evil Requiem arrive very soon.

Resident Evil Showcase is scheduled for January 15th

According to GamingBolt, Capcom confirmed a Resident Evil Showcase scheduled for January 15, 2026, at 2 PM PT. Capcom will stream the event live on YouTube and Twitch, giving fans worldwide easy access.

The broadcast should run for roughly 12 minutes and focus on new gameplay footage and story details from Resident Evil Requiem.

Capcom already released a short teaser that shows Grace Ashcroft fighting through zombie-infested areas, while Leon S. Kennedy blocks a chainsaw attack using a tomahawk.

Rumors suggest the showcase may also highlight more open environments or expanded traversal mechanics, especially during Leon’s playable sections. Capcom has not confirmed those features yet, but the teaser hints at a shift toward broader exploration.

Resident Evil Requiem launches on February 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Capcom does not plan a pre-launch demo, as the team focuses on polishing the final build.

If you want more horror before launch, check the current Xbox Game Pass additions to revisit Resident Evil Village. For even more gaming events, keep an eye on Xbox Developer Direct, which takes place later this month.
