Konami has officially locked in its next Silent Hill Transmission, and the timing is… interesting, to say the least. The publisher today confirmed that a fresh Silent Hill showcase will live stream on February 12, just one hour after PlayStation’s upcoming State of Play wraps up.

According to the announcement shared on the official Silent Hill X account, the broadcast will give you a deep dive into the “latest updates from the Silent Hill series,” with Silent Hill: Townfall set to headline the event. The studio has confirmed that a streaming link is expected to drop soon. We’ll update it here, too.

To catch you up, Townfall was first revealed back in 2022 alongside the Silent Hill 2 remake and Silent Hill f. It’s being developed by Screen Burn Interactive (formerly No Code), the studio known for Stories Untold and Observation.

With Sony’s State of Play airing just an hour earlier, many speculate that Konami could tease or reveal something Silent Hill-related during Sony’s event before diving deeper into Townfall during its own Transmission event.

Moreover, the Silent Hill 2 remake developer has confirmed it’s working on another entry in the franchise, and a reveal during State of Play, followed by expanded coverage in the Transmission, wouldn’t be surprising. Putting it simply, Silent Hill fans are in for a double dose of horror news in one night.
