If you’ve ever wanted to keep up with your followers on X(formerly Twitter) the Sky Follower Bridge extension on your Firefox browser can help you achieve this.

X is continuously making changes and it’s easy for your timeline to become unfamiliar. With Sky Follower Bridge, you get to curate your timeline and follow your interests by following the same users.

How do I download and install the Sky Follower Bridge extension on Firefox?

  1. Launch your Firefox browser and go to the Firefox Browser add-ons website.
  2. Search for Sky Follower Bridge, select the one you want from the search results, and then click Add to Firefox.ย
  3. The extension will be downloaded and installed. Click Add to allow the extension to access browser tabs, and browser activity during navigation.
  4. You might also get a prompt to allow this extension to work in a private session. To enable it, place a checkmark and click Okay.

The extension also gives a warning that it is not actively monitored for security by Mozilla so you may want to reconsider before installing it.

Once you’re done, you’ll also need to download the BlueSky app to important your follower list.

  1. Next, launch and log into your X account and start the Sky Follower Bridge extension.
  2. You’ll be prompted to sign into your BlueSky account and once in, Sky Follower Bridge will begin searching for followers on BlueSky and you can follow them.

While this is a great to ensure mutual follows, BlueSky doesn’t guarantee that the X username will be similar. Sky Follower Bridge may not be able to identify them if these usernames are different. You’ll need to do a lot of back and forth checking to ensure it’s the right account.

Further, if someone is not on BlueSky, their username will not show up on Sky Follower Bridge as the two are interconnected. This makes it very limiting since out of your follower list, only a handful will probably sign up for BlueSky.

Speaking of follows on these social platforms, we also have an interesting article on the IG Follow extension which can help you export your Instagram follow list. Once you have the list, you can now examine closely and check real vs fake followers on your Instagram account.

That’s all we had for this article but do let us know if you’ve tried the Sky Follower Bridge extension on Firefox or any other browser. What was your experience? Let us know in the comment section below.
