It’s been quite a period for Skype because the video-calling platform has been getting some new and exciting features. We’re talking about a complete call screen revamp, a unique Skype camera experience that lets users take pictures with a click, plus, Skype users will now have Bing on 1:1 calls.

However, folks at Skype have been busy, because the platform got 2 major update packages in the same week.

The second package, Skype Build 8107, brings even more features to the platform, including a new Skype Message Replies UI Redesign, which will make every conversation seamless and coherent, according to Microsoft.

The new redesign comes with multiple features that will allow users to experience a clearer conversation, with a lot of new ways to express themselves. Plus, Skype Build 8107 also comes with new camera experiences, and a refreshed audio message UI.

According to Skype, the new Message Replies UI coming in Build 8107 will have the following features:

The design looks cleaner, spaced out, and quite intuitive to use, which was exactly what Skype was going for. Along with the new audio message UI, and the camera experiences, Skype could become a dominant mobile messaging app, up there with the likes of Messenger, WhatsApp or Telegram.

The new Audio message UI also brings a lot of features, such as playback speed, timestamps, animated waveforms, and more.
