1. Press Windows + R to launch the Run command, enter appwiz.cpl in the text field, and click OK.
2. Select Google Chrome from the programs listed here, and then click on Uninstall.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
4. Once done, go to the official Chrome website, download it, and then install the browser all over again.

4. Flush DNS

1. Press Win + R, type cmd, and press Enter.
2. Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
3. Restart your browser and try accessing Gmail again.

5. Check firewall settings

Firewalls/antivirus tools might cause this error if Gmail/Google is blacklisted. If you’re on your personal device, you can fix it from settings, as shown below. But if you’re on a work/school device with no admin permissions, try creating a hotspot with your phone or use a VPN/proxy to bypass network restrictions.

1. Press Windows key + R and type control panel and press Enter.
2. Go to Security and Maintenance.
3. Click on the Allow app or feature through the Windows Defender Firewall option.
4. Click Allow another app and add the browser or email client you use to access Gmail. Check both the Private and Public boxes and save your settings.

6. Try a different browser
