AI is definitely the main topic of discussion when it comes to technology in 2023. Microsoft, for example, has been at the forefront of AI, and the Redmond-based tech giant’s research has brought some very fascinating AI models to the world.

There is Windows 11 Copilot, which is already out in the Windows Insider Program. Orca 13B is another Microsoft-backed AI model, which is now open-source and ready for you to use to build your own AI model.

When it comes to AI breakthroughs, Kosmos-2 is able to visualize space and form input with its own original perspectives, while Llama 2 is Microsoft’s AI partnership with Meta, which is also open-source. The LLM will be available to individuals and companies who want to build their own AI solutions.

Microsoft even funded research on phi-1, which is an AI language specialized in learning how to code, specifically Python. However, you should know that there is a new AI in town, called StableCode, and according to its developer, Stability AI, is the first LLM generative AI designed for coding.

Stability AI has just announced the release of StableCode, its very first LLM generative AI product for coding. This product is designed to assist programmers with their daily work while also providing a great learning tool for new developers ready to take their skills to the next level.

What is StableCore and what does Stability AI want to do with it?

StableCore was trained in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, Javascript, C, markdown, and C++. Stability AI says the model used approximately 540 billion tokens of code to understand the languages and come up with its own input.stablecode stability ai

After the training, StableCore was tuned for specific use cases which helped the AI solve complex programming tasks.

StableCore is aimed at those who want to learn how to code. Its 16,000 tokens context length makes it enough to be an assistant to a junior or mid-level programmer. But Stability AI says StableCore is suited for every programmer.

StableCode is the perfect assistant to ensure single and multiple-line autocomplete suggestions are available for the user. This model is built to handle a lot more code at once, making it the ideal learning tool for a beginner who wants to rise to bigger challenges.

The company wants StableCode to become a tool that everyone can use, no matter their background. Stability AI released the model in a quest to make technology more accessible and give a fair chance to all of those who want to start learning programming.

So if you’re at the beginning of your coding career, then it might be a good idea to try this the StableCode AI model. If you do so, let us know your experience with it below.
