The developer confirmed the exact global release times for this highly anticipated patch. Everything officially launches on April 7, meaning fans will not have to wait much longer. The content unlocks at 8 AM PDT, which translates to 11 AM EDT, 4 PM BST, and 5 PM CEST. 

Once the clock hits that time, you should see a fairly large download become available on your preferred platform. After the installation finishes, you can jump right back into your ship and start exploring everything the patch has to offer.

These are the differences between free and paid content

Everyone who owns the base game gets access to the Free Lanes content at absolutely no extra cost. This free portion of the patch brings various improvements and fresh activities to the galaxy. If you want to dive into the Terran Armada expansion, that part will cost an extra ten dollars on the digital storefront.

However, people who have already purchased the Premium Edition or the Premium Upgrade will get this new paid content automatically without spending another dime. The studio hopes this major content drop gives lapsed players a great reason to revisit the game.
