Stranger Things Upside Down DLC Lands in Minecraft
Earlier this month, Netflix and Microsoft collaborated to bring the Stranger Things 5 crossover to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Now, Netflix and Minecraft are teaming up to bring the Stranger Things Upside Down straight into your favorite blocky sandbox. If you’re a fan of Hawkins’ eerie adventures, this new DLC promises some surprises that you’d love the most.
The Stranger Things DLC, developed by Blockception, is now live on the Minecraft Marketplace. You can explore key locations from all four seasons, from the Starcourt Mall shenanigans to dark encounters in the Upside Down.

The OG characters like Eleven, Dr. Brenner, and Suzie return, bringing their unique abilities that make tackling quests a strategic affair. Villain fans can even step into the shoes of Vecna, wielding mind-control powers to wreak havoc.
The Stranger Things DLC for Minecraft Bedrock Edition is available now on the Minecraft Marketplace for 1510 Minecoins, which is roughly $9 in the US. One of the DLC’s standout features is the character-switching mechanic.
While the adventure is designed for cooperative play, solo players can swap between characters to access abilities as needed. As you progress, Hawkins evolves, unlocking new adventures and challenges. There are a few platform restrictions to keep in mind. Nintendo Switch players are unable to access the DLC, while mobile gamers need at least 6GB of RAM for smooth gameplay.
