Surface Pro 10 for Business Latest Update Fixes Keyboard Issues, Screen Flickering & More
The firmware update weighs 1GB in size
Last week, Microsoft released a firmware update for Surface Pro 10 for Business (non-5G version) running Windows 11, Version 23H2 or newer. The update is 1GB in size and has fixed a few known issues that kept troubling users. Here’s the changelog you may want to check:

- Security:
- Addresses a fingerprint authentication bypass security vulnerability to prevent spoofing attacks.
- Addresses potential security issues that may allow escalation of privilege, denial of service, or information disclosure.
- Reliability:
- Resolves an issue where the keyboard stops responding after the device comes out of hibernation.
- Fixes an issue where the Surface Pro Flex Keyboard battery may stop charging while the device is asleep.
- Improves stability by fixing blue screen issues related to using extended monitors.
- Fixes interface issues between the graphics and camera to ensure stable performance.
- Reduces screen flickering that could potentially lead the device to stop responding or restart.

If you haven’t updated yet, simply check the health of your Surface drivers and firmware using the Surface app. In the Surface app, expand Help & support to check the update status. If there are updates available, select the Check for updates button to open Windows Update and install the available updates. You can also manually install the updates from here.
