Sling TV has finally added support for Microsoft’s Edge browser with a service update earlier today. This means that Windows 10 users can now view Sling TV media directly from within Microsoft Edge without having to open the Sling TV app.

“At Sling TV, we continue to bring your favorite live and on-demand TV to all your devices, whether it’s on your big screen at home or mobile phone when you’re on the go,” Sling TV’s vice president of product management, Jimshade Chaudhari said in an official statement. “Today, we’ve expanded our device platforms by launching on the Microsoft Edge browser, giving you another option to instantly watch Sling TV on your computer. Windows 10 users now don’t have to leave their Edge browser to watch Sling TV; simply visit sling.com to start streaming.”

Sling TV added support for the Google Chrome web browser back in 2017 so this Microsoft Edge functionality is long overdue.
