client health dashboard teams

Good news for IT admins: they can check how well the Teams app works on Windows and Mac computers, thanks to a new client health dashboard coming to the Teams Admin Center.

This feature provides detailed information about the app’s health, such as crashes or problems starting up. With this information, administrators can quickly find and fix any issues to keep the app running smoothly.

It was announced in a recent entry to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap. Here’s what the entry says:

IT Administrators can view and monitor the health of Teams desktop clients on both Windows and Mac platforms. This feature offers comprehensive admin actionable insights into client health metrics, including client crashes and launch failures. Administrators are equipped with detailed information on issues, insights, and mitigation tools to promptly and effectively address any potential client health problems.

The new client health dashboard will be generally available to Windows and Mac users starting in March.

In other news, Microsoft Teams finally allows users to customize the way they receive their notifications. They can be displayed in a preferred area now.
