The company plans to expand its audience, and it has just announced that Threads got its Windows desktop app.

Meta has just released a Threads app for Windows

Threads is slowly but surely gaining more users, and to bring even more users to the service, Meta has released a Windows app, as Neowin reports.

With the Windows app, you can join and use Threads with your current Instagram profile, but you can also browse the service without an account, just like on the web.

Regarding the requirements, the Threads app needs Windows 10 version 19041.0 or newer and at least 2GB RAM. As for available languages, Threads is currently available only in English.

You can go ahead and download the app right now from the Microsoft Store app. This isn’t the only news regarding Meta, there are reports that you’ll soon be able to send files via DM on Instagram.

Meta also has big plans for Llama 3, so stay tuned to keep up with the latest news.
