Microsoft released the KB5050090 build to the Windows Dev Insider channel, and with it, the Redmond-based tech giant has introduced a new Settings Homepage for the operating system.
This new homepage will display existing cards, such as Recommended settings and Bluetooth devices, along with two new cards for work computers—one for device info and another for accessibility preferences.
The new Settings Homepage in Windows 11 will allow Windows 11 users to log into their work devices using their personal Microsoft accounts, as this new feature will display a new card showing both their work/school and personal Microsoft accounts.
KB5050090 introduced Windows Search to the Dev Channel after Microsoft released it to the other Insider Channels. As you might already know, the capability allows users to find pictures using natural language.
The Redmond-based tech giant also fixed many issues, from GDI+ displaying the wrong colors to Windows Security causing conflicts with Wi-Fi networks.
As always, a big known issue with KB5050090 might be disruptive for many Windows users. The issue causes unexpectedly high DCOM CPU usage for some Insiders after opening the Performance section of Task Manager, however Microsoft is wokring on a fix.
